I was born and raised in Texas and love the diversity and hospitality I’ve found here. I have a wonderful husband and 4 children (2 in heaven and 2 here on earth). I’ve been studying birth work and working on my doula certification for over 3 years now! I’ve enjoyed researching birth for my own personal experience and I’ve enjoyed helping friends and family with birth and postpartum questions in an unofficial capacity. Birth work is such important community work. I’m passionate about birth and postpartum care and advocacy being accessible to the whole community. My faith isn’t something that resides outside of birth, but something that walks ahead and alongside every step of the way. Through my own home births and miscarriages, I’ve learned so much about God and the beauty of his design for birth, life, and more.
